This Privacy Policy describes how QuantIQ ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit quantiqhq.com (the "Service"). QuantIQ is a CAT Quant diagnostic platform operated from India. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

a. Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through our authentication provider Clerk. We do not store passwords directly.

b. Practice and diagnostic data

We collect data about your practice sessions, including answers, time spent per question, error classifications, and progress scores. This data powers the diagnostic features of the Service.

c. Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers. Razorpay's privacy policy applies to your payment information: razorpay.com/privacy.

d. Usage and device data

We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent, and referral source. This helps us monitor performance, detect abuse, and improve the product.

e. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to operate the Service, remember your preferences, analyze usage, and serve advertising. See Section 4 for details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Generate diagnostic feedback and progress scores
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send service-related emails (no unsolicited marketing)
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations under Indian and applicable foreign law

4. Third-Party Services and Advertising

We work with third-party service providers who process certain data on our behalf. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to use data only as instructed by us.

a. Google AdSense

We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service provided by Google LLC, to serve advertisements on certain pages of the Service. Google AdSense and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) and similar technologies to:

  • Serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites on the internet
  • Personalize advertising content where permitted by your settings
  • Measure ad performance and prevent fraudulent ad impressions

  • Clerk — authentication and account management
  • Neon — database hosting for your practice and account data
  • Razorpay — payment processing
  • Microsoft Clarity — behavioural analytics, including session recordings of interactions with the site (no keystrokes inside form fields are recorded)
  • Vercel — hosting, content delivery, and basic request logging

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review them.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • With third-party providers listed in Section 4, as required to operate the Service
  • When required by law, court order, or government request
  • To protect our rights, users, or the public from harm or fraud
  • In connection with a business transfer, merger, or acquisition (you will be notified)

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and practice data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential processing

8. Children

QuantIQ is intended for users aged 18 and above preparing for CAT and similar entrance examinations. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption in transit, encrypted database storage, and access controls. No internet service can be 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to log out on shared devices.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside India, including the United States and European Union, where our service providers operate. We rely on standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards required by applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through a notice on the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
